The educator is the most important factor to create quality in special training and education. Today there are no formal regulations in the partner countries regarding MSID education. Almost any teacher can enter a classroom and teach without having the skills to adapt curricula for MSID students. The project will work to improve quality assurance of special education teaching and learning and better track the progress of MSID learners, by developing the skills and qualifications of educators.

The end goal of this training module is to enable tutors/ trainers to meet the learning needs of their MSID learners so that those learners can engage effectively with the texts, tasks and practices they encounter in their training and learning, or daily lives. It is expected that educators will use, adapt and extend the presented ideas to meet the needs of their learners and their own teaching situations. There are six main sections in this module:

    ·       Identifying Key Skills

    ·       Methodology & Approach

    ·       Motivation of MSID students

    ·       Applications for MSID students

    ·       Design and implementation

    ·       Final Assessment

Module III. Development of social and competence skills of disabled students. children, adolescents and adults - ePortfolio, networking, design thinking BELGIUM

The current training module is prepared to implement music and art therapy and introducing culture and democratic institutions in order to exert positive influence of the general psychological condition of MSID students, to improve their mental development and make for their social inclusion and independent living. Theory is combined with practical activities aiming at boosting creativities.

The results of the training sessions are documented in ePortfolios on a common platform. This method for introducing modern technologies makes for improving the reflection stage in the training and raises participant self-esteem. The sense of independency is developed by suggesting visiting important cultural institution and local authority’s buildings and discussing ecological problems.

‘Special education needs’ is a very long term that must be taken into account by all authorities and experts on the field. Every individual has an innate need for social interaction.

When individuals have learning problems or disabilities that make it harder for them to learn than most children the same age, they need to be supported in case they should have better independent lives.

‘What methods should be used?’ is the core question we have tried to answer. Because it is a very well known fact that in teaching language speaking skills, individual differences challenge special education teachers most. Besides; acquisition of motor skills enables physical activities to be performed, it also positively affects the social development of the individual, so Specialist Support Tools module will help MSID students improve their language, communication and motor skills

With the model we have developed, we aim to guide experts, educators, social workers, language therapists on using some highly used supporting tools and newly developed techniques at SEN education.

The last post you have uploaded on a social network has had an impact among your followers, you have more and more likes and you accumulate dozens of comments. Your online activity is very active and your profile is having more and more impact on the digital community. But are you really aware of the full impact of that photo, that comment or that like?

The development of new software and new ICTs is within the reach of many. Everyone has had the opportunity to use or own a technological device with internet access. The cyber world is not a novelty for the new generations as it is part of their everyday life.

We use the internet frequently, but we are not really aware of the consequences or the impact of our actions in the cyber world.

In this course on digital security, we will learn what the internet is. How to protect our devices and information from cyber threats. We will also learn how to differentiate between different malware and how to detect if our online activity is safe.

Finally, we spend a lot of time each day connected to the internet, so we need to be aware of what we are using and the dangers that can arise from simple actions such as performing a search, opening a Gmail or accepting an unknown profile on a social network.
